PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Have you ever wondered how dehumidifiers work? The ideal ambient operating temperature for our Shinco dehumidifiers is between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F). The process starts by warm and humid air entering the dehumidifier through the grill on the back, where it passes over a cold coil that condenses the water out of the air. The water then collects in a bucket for later removal. The dry air is reheated and blown back into the room. Our dehumidifiers are perfect for homes and basements.

BEFORE USING: We recommend keeping the Shinco dehumidifier upright for 24 hours before plugging it in. Additionally, remember to clean the bucket with potable water every two weeks to prevent bacterial growth. Clean the air filter with water at least once every 30 days to maintain efficiency. Make sure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it.

STORING THE DEHUMIDIFIER: To store the dehumidifier, ensure it operates under inside drying mode. After cleaning the main dehumidifier, bucket, and air filter, cover it with a plastic bag and store it upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.
