Operational Recommendations
Upon connecting the dehumidifier to WiFi for the first time, we recommend turning the unit off for 15 minutes, followed by re-energizing it for over-the-air firmware updates to version 1.00.20. When powered on for the initial time, you may experience some sound and odor—this is entirely normal, so please wait around 10 minutes. Dehumidifiers generate heat during operation to effectively absorb moisture, with capabilities of dehumidifying up to 50 pints per day at 65°F and 60% RH, and even higher at more humid temperatures.

To protect the compressor and enhance its longevity, the compressor will only activate three minutes after the unit is turned on. After every eight hours of operation, the compressor will pause for a ten-minute interval. Attach a ¾-inch garden hose for continuous drainage (not included) if you desire.

The recommended area for usage is up to 900 square feet, while it can technically serve spaces up to 4500 square feet, where effectiveness may decrease. The ideal working temperature ranges from 41°F to 94°F, while the humidity operating range is 0-95% RH. Maintain at least 8 inches of space on all sides and 16 inches above the unit to promote appropriate air circulation, especially in confined areas.

In Auto Mode, the Maintain function helps regulate the on/off frequency by accommodating minor shifts in ambient humidity. For example, when your target humidity is set at 35%, the system will maintain a range of 30-38% for optimal comfort. Should the Maintain function be disabled, the device will deactivate upon reaching the targeted humidity.

Smart Features
You can control your dehumidifier remotely using the app, allowing adjustments for power, modes, timers, and humidity records—even when you're not at home. The app will also send alerts when the water tank is full, and the device is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT.

Designed for maximum comfort, this basement dehumidifier features a built-in sensor for automatic humidity adjustments. It can efficiently remove around 50 to 70 pints daily, depending on the model, while also being energy-efficient—having received the 2023 Energy Star Most Efficient certification.
